There was actually more than one attempt that resulted in the death of his mother and brother all for a million $ inheritance. He was found guilty and sentenced to die. His father survived and is begging you to vote to spare his life because he is scheduled to die by lethal injection execution scheduled in a matter of hours.

Texas is one of several states who actually implements the death penalty as part of the state’s conservatism. As an appointed member of the Texas Board of Pardon and Paroles, your recommendation is required for the Governor to grant clemency in order to spare his life. If so, he will serve a lifetime sentence. It is the Governor’s decision but it required your recommendation. How will you vote? Will you vote to spare his life or will he be executed as scheduled?
