What is cultural anthropology? Describe the range of peoples and cultures studied. Discuss some major theorists (Radcliffe-Brown, Malinowski, Boas, etc.), theories and methodologies (field research, participant-observation, interviewing, etc.) of cultural anthropology. What are some of the ethical issues encountered in the practice of anthropological research that require the protection of human subjects? (Kottak, Lectures)
