MUSC 1101This week we move to real-world experiences in the musical and artistic realm. After completing your 1st cultural connection, please briefly share your experience in this post. Please clearly state which experience you chose, why you chose the event, if you enjoyed the experience and whether you would or would not recommend this experience to your classmates. Please view this board as an opportunity to reflect on your experience and also a way to locate possible future experiences for this class or experiences outside of the class parameters. I typed in recordings of live Broadway musicals and hit several sites with offerings.I do not assume responsibility for any of these sites, the content within, or any links or ads associated with the sites. Many of these sites offer free viewing or viewing through subscription. However, I do not require or even recommend any cost associated with a viewing. It is possible that you may already have a subscription to one or more of these services, or that you could sign-up for a free trial, or that you may be able to rent or check out through a library or similar type service. If you do choose to watch a Broadway musical, I am looking for a live recording of a live show. I am not offering credit for a movie version. You may want to look for a summary of the content of the show prior to viewing. All musicals are not rated “G”, and you may want to be familiar with the content – especially if you will be viewing with other family members present.
