Using “The 1812 Aponte Rebellion in Cuba and the Struggle Against Atlantic Slavery” by Matt Childs and “The Reaper’s Garden: Death and Power in the World of Atlantic Slavery” by Vincent Brown, compare each of their narratives of slavery to each others, (differences between Jamaica and Cuba during slave trade) as well as compare the differences between each of their reasons for forming their rebellions as well as the difference of outcome for each of them.
