Discuss The Ethical Practices of Educational Leadership.

1. Download the Model Code of Ethics for Educators (MCEE) (Links to an external site.).
2. Also, download your state’s Code of Ethics for Educators from the Department of Education website of the state in which you reside or, if seeking licensure, of the state from which you are pursuing a license. (For example, if you reside in Georgia, see the Georgia Code of Ethics (Links to an external site.).) ** Since I’m located overseas and work for the Dept. of Defense, I’m attaching a copy of a pdf that has our Model Code of Ethics, pg. 33
3. Copy and paste your own state’s code of ethics to the discussion in either Word or PDF format.
4. Write at least a 250 word statement comparing your state’s code to the MCEE. For example, you might discuss the following:
a. What aspects of each of the codes do you perceive as being most significant and why?
b. Is there anything left out of each of the codes that you believe should be added? If so, why?
c. Which codes do you believe are most often violated? Why?
