Why do people discriminate?
What are you supposed to write about?Psychology is a science. As such, we propose and test competing Theories to explain behavior. I want you to select a theory, and use it to explain how we develop a capacity to Discriminate against other human beings. Start with one of the larger theories of Human Development (e.g. Psychoanalysis or Behaviorism) as opposed to one of the more narrowly focused theories on Attitude Change. What lets us see other people as LESS than ourselves. This can be regarding Ethnicity, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Gender, etc. Mechanics?
