Assessment Criteria The assessment will be assessed according to the following criteria: Development of argument supported by literature Critical analysis and originality. Grammar, structure, academic writing. You must demonstrate that you have read the core unit readings (Carson, E. and Kerr, L. (2014) Chapter 1 to 7) and engaged in your own wider research; Adherence to academic writing conventions,including referencing and formatting At least 5 academic references must be used. Marks will be deducted for the use of old references (greater than 10 years for books, greater than five years for journal articles). Essays received after the due date without extension will receive a 5% deduction per day, weekend inclusive.
