Assignment Summary: The writing assignment in this course is a literature review of one of the course-related topics listed below. Once you select a topic, identify 4 (four) scholarly peer-reviewed journal articles, and then critically review the literature related to your chosen topic. Please note that newspapers, Facebook, Buzzfeed articles, and all other non-scholarly sources are strictly prohibited. Additionally, annotated bibliographies are not the same type of writing as literature reviews. Literature reviews collect and discuss literature in a topical or time-oriented manner rather than discussing each source in a paragraph by itself.
