What did you learn that was new about the field of conventions and event management?

This professional can be found locally or worldwide. Students are encouraged to find a person who is involved with events that the student would like to participate in. For example, if a student is interested in conventions, they should try to contact a planner from conventions bureau in area which they would like to become employed. If a student is interested in sporting events such as the Masters Golf Tournament, Tour de France, or the Olympics, they should do some internet research and start making phone calls and sending emails to get an interview. Students will need to come up with a list of ten questions to ask. The paper should include the interviewee’s name, title, and contact information. Also, explain how the contact was found (i.e., Internet search, family connection, cold call). Second, explain what was learned from the interview.
