Compare and contrast the Protestant (Lutheran, Calvinist, Anglican, etc) and Catholic Reformations, explaining at least two similarities and at least two differences. Then, explain whether these two reformations were more similar or different. Please explain with clear examples. I am not interested in the differences in doctrine among Lutherans, Calvinists, Anglicans, and Catholics, but rather how these religions spread, attracted or retained followers, and what political and social factors made these religions, including their doctrines, attractive to rulers, communities, and even individuals.
