Read the following THREE Critical Thinking Exercises below and reflect on ONE of the exercises in 250 words or more using APA 7th edition, 9th printing textbook. Use two nursing peer reviewed articles no older than five years to support your answers. Then go to the article listed below the critical thinking exercises. In this article, there are two case studies that are used to illustrate the dilemmas confronting nurses in nursing homes related to sexual relations. After reading the article listed below (you may have some trouble finding it but it is reachable), reflect on your personal thoughts and ideas of the authors recommendations for the nurses, the nursing profession, owners of the nursing homes, and those making policies. 1.) You are caring for a 86 year old man with dementia who keeps wandering into the rooms of other female residents in a long-term care facility. You have even found him in bed with one of these female residents from time- to-time. How would you, as the nurse, handle this situation? 2.) What have you read about HIV and AIDS among the older population? Do you as a nurse think this is a real problem? Why or Why not? 3.) An older resident in an assisted living facility asks you to buy him a pornographic magazine because he cannot drive to the store and get one for himself. He says he will give you enough money to buy the magazine and get you something at the store as well.
