This assignment will allow you to explore the history of this genre ofmusic a bit more in-depth through an unexpected medium – comics and graphic novels.Here is what you need to do:1) Read only ONE of the following graphic novels:Piskor, E. Of the dozens of people,events, records, songs, etc. that emerged in the world of rap and hip-hop duringthe years your graphic novel covers, which do you believe are the FIVE mostimportant or influential?3) Write an essay (minimum 3 full pages) which tells me what those FIVE mostimportant or influential items or people are. Give a thorough explanation for eachof the five, focusing on why you believe these five are the most important fromthe years covered in your graphic novel.4) In your explanations you must be explicit, referring to specific content (and pagenumbers) in your graphic novel.
