Your Home Defense Plan for living in an apartment complex, 2nd floorOn completion of viewing the videos in this module I want you to develop your own home safety plan. This will consist of you taking inventory of your existing home or apartment and using the suggestions from this module and develop a to do list to make your home safer. The following list of points needs to be met to ensure an “A” grade. The points to be met are: 1-Outside your home or apartment: Locks, lighting, access areas (doors & doorways), Etc. What are you going to add or correct?2-Inside your home or apartment: locks, door bars, peepholes, safe space, tools/weapons-improvised, phone areas/charging areas, window and sliding door locks, Etc. What are you going to add or correct?3-What do you do to prepare when you travel? What are you going to add or correct?4-Are there children or elderly in the home? What accommodations have been discussed? What are you going to add or correct?
