Discuss How Failures in the Inventory Management System are Delaying the F-35 Project.

Department of Defense attempting to implement the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter into action with limited success. The reason for the failure has been identified and it is caused by the software that they use to track the maintenance on the aircraft, which is know as the Autonomic Logistics Information System. Basically the problem is the system was designed to order parts for the F-35 and it is essentially “too advanced” for the military and the systems that they use, and because of this it makes it hard to get replacement parts.
