Discuss how lack of sugar inhibits or slows yeast growth.

Please note I have already done task 4. This is what I submitted for task 4. Two specific conditions that yeast may find stressful are: temperature & sugar (nutrient available). Temperatures higher than 42 degrees Celsius makes the yeast environmental condition more stressful as cells become stressed and their contents get damaged which results to death of the yeast.Yeast can survive with temperatures between 10 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius.Yeast is a fungus that needs energy for its living and growth, this energy is obtained from sugar. Yeast uses oxygen to extract/release energy from sugars. The more the concentration of sugar the more active and faster yeast grows. A lack of sugar inhibits or slows yeast growth.
