Unfortunately, it is an issue that will persist until society reaches an understanding of the unfair discrimination and treatment that indigenous populations of the U.S, caused by the white majority. There are many scenarios that go unnoticed, or are simply not given enough attention to in society, when the Native American population suffer from unfair treatment.
