Our reading this module/week looked more closely at the challenges of being a Christian in tough business environments and also presented a typology for Christian business ethics. With this in mind, read chapter 2 from Hess & Cameron as they explored “putting people first” at FedEx Freight. You are a leader at FedEx. Create an email to the staff about putting people first. In this email, help develop a culture of “putting people first.” In some workplaces, Christians cannot share Bible verses and prayers. We can share Biblical principles such as empathy, compassion, integrity, respect, and honesty. Encourage and explain to the staff how putting people first is important to the business.
