The earliest theories on aging came from the psychosocial, biological, and nursing disciplines. Examine all of the theories listed in Chapter 3: Theories of Aging located in Tables 3-1, 3-2, & 3-3 on pages 64, 65, 83, and 85 of your textbook. Choose any two theories from these tables and explain how each theory you chose applies to the aging adult in 250 words or more for each theory you choose supporting your answers with at least 2 nursing peer reviewed journal articles no older than five years. Using the knowledge that you gained from the aging theories that you chose, answer the following questions: 1) How can the nurse facilitate best practices for managing chronic illnesses with the elderly? 2) How can the nurse help people to use their genetic makeup to prevent co-morbities? and
