Qualitative Research Proposal on Fire Safety and Prevention for the city of Pasadena, TEXAS in the Spanish speaking community. The current population of foreign born and Spanish speaking people in Pasadena, Texas is at/or above 50%. The proposal will describe the problem of the language barrier with the Spanish speaking community and how that barrier can cause injury or death by not understanding the fire safety and prevention information, including properly working smoke detectors and having a home fire escape plan. The research will help determine the population of foreign born and Spanish speaking population in Pasadena, TEXAS. How to reach this population and to develop an outreach program to provide fire safety and prevention information, test and receive free smoke detectors, and to develop a home fire escape plan. Fire Safety Research Class #1 You will develop a Qualitative Research Proposal. The proposal will describe the problem and what you aim to accomplish by conducting the research.
