Read this essay writ a primary response. First at all, we need to realize what SWOT analysis is. SWOT analysis is a strategic planning technique used to help a person or organization identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to business competition. In the past discussion, we knew six megatrends including: Globalization 2.0, Environment crisis, Demographic change, Individualism, Digitation and Technology convergence. Here is my SWOT analysis about six megatrends.Strength: Digitization and Technology convergenceTo improve the efficiency of a business process, consistency and quality. Integrating conventional records into digitized systems removing redundancies and shortening the communication chain. Improv accessibility and facilitate better information exchange for staff and users. Digitization is so important for business. Technology convergence bring us more benefits, makes our life more convenient, better, saving time and cost-saving. I am concentrating in data analytics in my master’s degree, our study experience is helpful for solving some problems about digitization. On the other hands, digital transformation can’t do without data analytics. For example: system integration and data exchange, central data repositories and collaborative data science. Technology convergence changes the future of mankind I know including: Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, machine learning, Virtual reality and Augmented reality. Although I do not do technical research, my ability to get accepted is strong. I am willing to study; I know more about technology convergence.Weaknesses: IndividualismI have taken my Globe Smart Cultural assessment, my characterization is moderately interdependent. I enjoy working as part of a group. In my mind, I very much agree with some points that I placed great importance on group harmony and cooperation, I am feeling a sense of duty, obligation and loyalty to the ascribed group. It is different from independent. They more willingly place great importance on individual identity, derive identity from personal choices and achievements and prefer taking action on one’s own. I feel like I lack some personality.Opportunity: Globalization 2.0 and Demographic changeNowadays, many economic power transfers to emerging markets from mature Western economies. I have seen more work opportunities and market demands in China. In my case, I want to work in the finance industry in China after I graduated. China’s Financial Market is more and more standardized, more and more finance derivatives can be trade. Chinese government encourages many foreign finance institutions to set up offices in China. About demographic change, aging populations bring more investment opportunities. Such as healthcare, medical devices and Nursing homes. Smart home technology and health will become a trend.Threat: Environment crisisThe business impact due to pollution stretches far and wide. Which then impacts medical cost and loss of productivity, increasing cost and concerned stakeholders. It has an impact on human health; human health might be at the receiving end as a result of the environmental degradation. Due to the rapid increase in population and wealth, the earth’s natural resources cannot meet human needs, and the contradiction between man and nature is more prominent.
