These past 2 weeks, we have watched 2 very different animated films (Wall-E and Waltz with Bashir). How do these 2 movies use animation to represent their respective stories? Why, for example, do you think that Wall-E uses that particular animation to capture its story, whereas Waltz with Bashir uses a very different kind of animation to tell a story about the 1982 Lebanon War? How would these movies have been different if they were not animated?
