How do those compare between the different sources?

There are several different official as well as self-reported data sources publicly available in the US that provide us with multiple crime statistics. Gather data from at least one official and one self-reported national-level statistics on “forcible rape” or “sexual assault” on child victims (i.e., under 18, depending on the jurisdiction). Create a table comparing these statistics (usually given as a rate per 1,000 / 100,000) from as long of a time period as possible to compare the historical trend. Please make sure that the rates are converted to be the same before comparing the rates from the different sources. What are you seeing? What can you tell about the actual rate differences between the self-reports versus official statistics? What do you think explains these differences? How about the trends? How do those compare between the different sources?
