Complete this week’s readings, web site review and video. Select one specific cultural group (use a
group that is different from the cultural group you are a member of) from Giger and Haddad (2021) for
your discussion board this week (pp.160 – 676) and read the related chapter. Students may use the same
cultural group they selected to analyze in the Week 3 DB (recommended) or select a new cultural group.
Review the case study and the care plan from the selected cultural group. Select a nursing theorist from
Petiprin (2016).
Important note: it is understood that the pre-licensure Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
students do not have the education or experience to have an in-depth understanding of the case
presented or the ability to evaluate the presented care plan.
