Research and create your own ‘WIKI PAGE’ for ONE of the following pioneers and/or innovators of Special Effects. Georges Méliès Douglas Trumbull Phil Tippett Carlo Rambaldi Stan Winston John Dykstra

Choose the person you would like to research and find the following information: Important Inventions/Innovations – or any improvements/enhancements to existing techniques or systems the person was involved in. Career History – where they worked, artistic background including education, influences and collaborations. Area of Expertise – what the person’s main aspect of the effects field they specialized in, explaining exactly what they did and how it works. Significant Films – not necessarily every film they worked on. Noteworthy Awards – a list of awards. These Special/Visual Effects master filmmakers each have a long personal history in the Film Industry, so I would like to see at least one FULL page of information, if not more. There are obviously existing Wikipedia pages for these effects artists, but find other sources for your information, and cite them as part of the assignment. Be sure to submit all of your responses in your own words, do not be tempted to use text from another review or analysis, unless you cite the source.
