The Nude or Is She Really Naked?

The textbook mentions the artist’s use of the nude figure, one of art’s most enduring forms. It also mentions the nude as subject matter used by artists since the Neo-classic era.Also think about the term, nude or naked. Some images of women may appear to be simply nude; others, naked.Select two contrasting images of the nude by two different artists within the same or from differing periods of time and discuss how each artist intended his figure to relate to the viewer. Be sure to explain why you think the artist succeeded or not in his intentions.
