In general, it is extremely important for you to write at a professional/collegiate level. Grammar, usage, punctuation, spelling, capitalization – all of these things matter. Keep your answers clear and make sure you are really addressing the question or prompt. There will be three sections in the appeal form. In each section, you will want to be very specific and use the space given to you on the form. 1. Extenuating CircumstancesThis portion of the appeal asks you to describe the circumstances that surrounded your departure from the program in the past. This section is where you outline how the personal issues and/or extenuating circumstances you faced impacted you and school at that time.
