What are the backgrounds of each member?

Knowing who represents you in Congress is an important part of this class and an important part of responsible citizenship. The Legislative Case Study is designed to increase your knowledge of who represents you. It is also an assignment designed to increase your college level writing, your critical analysis, and research skills all of which are important in any college level course. You will write a 4-5 page case study detailing information about the individuals who represent them in Congress. Students will provide a fact sheet and write up of their U.S. Congressperson and two Senators. Questions that should be answered are: Who are my representatives in Congress? What district do I live in? Where are their offices located? How long have each of them served in Congress? What are some of the issues they find important? How do I contact each representative? What are the backgrounds of each member?
