Topic: Human Security Challenges at U.S./Mexico Border

The three research questions that to focus on answering are: What are the key human security challenges faced by asylum seekers and migrants at the US/Mexico border? How have US policies, including those implemented during the Trump administration, contributed to the humanitarian crisis at the border? What are the implications of the US/Mexico border crisis for broader discussions of human security and migration policy? Incorporate evidence of lack of personal and political security for migrants crossing the U.S./Mexico border such as the inhuman conditions that migrants have to endure while in detention camps or tent shelters like not receiving proper medical care, the quick spread of illnesses in these compact environments, the abuse and mistreatment from officers at the border, kidnapping/human trafficking.

Also mention, policies that have denied asylee’s and refugees legal representation and put migrants safety in danger by sending them back to Mexico despite their safetly being in danger .
