What aspects of the play grabbed your attention most, good and bad? They could be characters (their behavior, things they said), themes conveyed, the accessibility of the language, or something else that struck you while reading the play. Why did these things stand out to you? Are there any questions you have about the play now that you’ve finished it?What did you think about the film version of the play? Do you think it captured the original work well? Did it help you better understand the play, or did it make things more confusing? Do you think the choices made by the filmmakers in transferring material originally intended for a stage production were effective in this medium to bring Shakespeare to a wider audience? Why or why not?–Your responses may be in the 1st person POV (meaning you may use “I” statements). You are welcome to pull in quotes from the play to help illustrate your points but indicate which act and scene they are from and provide a line number.
