What is Cultural Diversity?

Early learning settings across the world are filled with culturally diverse children. As an early childhood development professional, you can help support children’s early learning and development by respecting the cultural diversity of each and every child. In order to do this, it is important that you have a solid understanding of the definition of cultural diversity and the factors that contribute to it. In this discussion, you will develop a poster that you could display in your early learning environment to demonstrate ways you will support children’s learning. Respond to at least two of your peers by doing the following:Explain two things you learned from their poster.Discuss one way you could use this poster in your future work with diverse learners.Though two replies is the basic expectation, for deeper engagement and learning you are encouraged to provide responses to any comments or questions others have given to you. Remember, continuing to engage with peers and the instructor will further the conversation and provide you with opportunities to demonstrate your content expertise, critical thinking, and real-world experiences with this topic.
