What is the nature of the mind?

What is the nature of the mind? Is it just the brain or is it something else? One position would have that the mind is just the brain, and another position would be that the mind is an immaterial entity with some special properties. Some of the arguments we saw about this issue were: the modal argument and the knowledge argument. For example, try to evaluate the modal argument: What is the argument? What are the premises? What is the conclusion? Is the argument good? If yes, then how would you respond to the main objections against the argument? If no, then is it because some premise is false or because the argument is valid?
