What is the office of disabilities process for reviewing student documentation?
The campus lawyers are concerned that the college office of disabilities does not extend legal protections and services to students who do not qualify as having a disability. On the other hand, I heard from a student who stated that they were unable to register with the college Office of Disabilities because they did not have appropriate documentation of a disability.
What is the office of disabilities process for reviewing student documentation? What guidance do we give students who don’t have appropriate documentation? Are the office processes and guidelines consistent?
