What makes the self: genetics or environment?

Investigate a problem or social issue that genuinely perplexes you. Be sure to include the evolution of your original question, your full personal disclosure, a consideration of the larger landscape of the problem and why you chose to focus your investigation where you did. The defense of your thesis should be based upon the strongest findings of your research, not on “gut feelings” or personal preference. Discovering (and defending) the best possible answer should be your only agenda.Other than issues related to abortion, no specific topic is off limits. It is best, however, to avoid “yes or no” questions. Also, avoid unanswerable questions like, “Have space aliens ever really landed on Earth?” or “Are ghosts real?” Avoid topics that have been done so often they are cliché such as, “What makes the self: genetics or environment?” unless you feel you can take the research off the beaten path.
