Why do you think these two areas, learning theory and development theory, are included in a course on adult education?
2. Adults differ in a variety of ways. Speculate as to the types of challenges and benefits this presents to adult educators?
3. One of your tasks this week is to begin work on you classroom observations. Note that you are permitted to visit only one “traditional” education setting (a postsecondary institution). What other types of educational settings do adults attend? Why do you think you were limited to only one traditional setting?
