For this week’s Blog, you will be researching the history of a medium of art from your textbook. This will be Chapters 6-13. Choose a medium of art (it must be different from the medium you selected for your discussion question). You will then you the text, and outside research to create a brief history of the medium, from its beginning to now. You will select photos to include, creating a time line of the process’s development, and some stylistic changes that were a result of the medium itself. Include a minimum of 6 images, you may include more. For each image, write 1-2 sentences describing how it is significant in the historical timeline you are creating. Be specific, for example don’t choose painting or printmaking, choose acrylic paint, oil paint, lithography, etching or woodcut. There are many “subcategories of the general mediums.
