Write a biography of Gerald Leonard’s life.

Gerald Leonard was born August 21st 1941 in Saint Cloud Minnesota. In 1956 she started High School St Cloud Technical High School in Saint Cloud Minnesota he was supposed to graduate in 1916 but him and some friends decided to go get a burger at lunch break and when they got back they were told that they had to be suspended for 10 days as stubborn as he is Gerald said no I’m not going to be suspended for 10 days I’ll quit and he did he decided to join the Marines March 3rd of 1960 with his first place being stationed Kodiak Alaska in June of 1960. His next station was Pendleton California then in August of 1961 got sent to Okinawa Japan. They floated off the coast a Vietnam on guard for 3 months but never actually landed there. This was a relief in 1963 Gerald was sent back to Pendleton California to be a troop leader which is probably the most difficult time for him when he was in the Marines he had to read all these other men and he remembers one day particular and handling all the men. He left the Marines in 1964 I’m going to train at the VA Medical Hospital in Fargo North Dakota to train to be in operating room technician in 1965 he transferred as an or Tech to the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Minnesota in 1970 he became chief of medical supply. In 1991 he got called for war in Saudi Arabia but they were redirected to Spain instead they came back after 90 days to the US the war was over so they had been sent to Honduras for two weeks to finish out their active duty in 1992 Gerald was awarded by the VFW as reservist of the year in the state of Minnesota this is very rewarding experience for him he retired from the VA in 1995
