Consequently, you must identify and analyze: a social issue, one viable solution, and a call-to-action, based on data compiled from two secondary sources located in the school-based libraries. The topic must derive from the Pew Research Center. Examples of some subject matters are poverty, employment, discrimination(be specific), college tuition, student loan debt, immigration, technology/social media, and drug abuse; however, do not address LGBTQ/Reproductive rights (i.e., abortion), gun violence, or global warming. If a problem you want to discuss is not on the website, please seek approval from the instructor. The goal is to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the social issue regarding the depth of its concern rather than disprove, debunk, or dispel a problem.
