Write a paper discussing what constitutes a diverse racial environment.Students are required to identify, summarize and reflect upon a current event article/video clip/book surrounding a racial/ethnic group.
The media item should be no more than 6 months old.
The media item must address the master status category race & ethnicity.
Students should prepare a 2-3 slide powerpoint addressing:
a. which stereotypes and/or discrimination practices are associated with the master status
b. the key message points covered in the piece
c. your personal reaction to it, i.e., how/if the piece has influenced your understanding of the issues associated with that master status category.
4. Included must be a traceable reference of the media item. You must include the title, author, publication name, and release date. For online articles or videos, you must also provide the URL
