(b) Group’s analysis – provide information about the group’s ideology,
objectives, leadership, constituency and recruitment efforts, organizational structure,
strategy, operational capabilities (including common tactics and weapon selection),
target selection, and recent campaigns it executed.
(c) Group’s effectiveness – analyze how the various characteristics of the
group (which you described in the previous section) shaped/influenced the group’s
level of success. Answer the question of whether terrorist tactics helped the group to
