Write a paper discussing the history of Canada-US relations.

2500-3000 words, excluding title page & footnotes/endnotes.The topic is broad but must focus on the interrelated or comparative histories of Canada & the USA. The paper must address either or both of (1) the history of Canada-US relations or (2) a comparison of some aspect of the histories of the two countries. The course focuses on the history of Canadian-American relations since their conception, focusing mainly on the Canadian perspective. Sources should only include scholarly articles and books. The electronic database, America: History and Life, is an acceptable bibliography guide for recent articles on CAN-USA history. Miscellaneous websites, online encyclopedias, general textbooks, articles from magazines or newspapers are not to be used.
