Choose any fictional story that you are familiar with. This could be a book, short story, movie, television show, play, comic book, video game, etc. Then choose one of the following critical strategies: formalist, reader-response, deconstructionist, historical, new historical, cultural studies, biographical, psychological, Marxist, gender and sexuality, mythological. Write at least a paragraph explaining how that critical strategy could be applied to that story. You do not need to have a fully formed thesis or argument.
