Week 5. The Christian world is painfully ignorant of Zoroastrianism, the ancient Persian religion, which influenced Judaism and thus Christian theism. What Zoroastrian ideas do you think influenced Judaism and Christianity? What Persian ideas were rejected or translated into Abrahamic thought?

Week 6. Hinduism is probably the world’s richest set of theistic beliefs. The Roman’s borrowed much for the Greeks in terms of theistic beliefs, but the Hindus are amazingly sophisticated. Of course, Hindu thought has not suffered the intrusion of the European Reformation or the Enlightenment, followed by the evolution of modern science and technological, all of which have influenced Western Theism. Do you think there is a spiritual advantage, as with Christian saints (and the incarnation of God in the figure of Jesus Christ) in practicing multiple incarnations of a universal principle (Brahman)? (Please remember that Brahman is a principle, not a deity, and that Brahma is a creator deity.). Further, do you imagine all these incarnations serve a spiritual purpose towards Moksha?
