This section will cover any background information that is necessary for readers to have in order for them to understand both the problem and the solution you will be presenting.

Definition: A section that carefully and thoroughly defines exactly what the problem is. Evidence: A section that presents evidence for the existence, the extent of, and the dangers posed by the problem.

Acknowledgement of Alternative Solutions: A section that fairly and accurately presents any competing solutions that are proposed in the researched sources examined. You may wish to present solid reasons why you are rejected them as well.

Consequences: As you move toward the end of the paper, a section that explores and/or warns your readers about what might or will happen if a solution to the problem is not enacted. You should also present a projection about the benefits that will accrue IF, on the other hand, your solution IS enacted.

Future- Focused Conclusion: Finish your paper by presenting a concluding paragraph which presents an expansion of your thesis: that is, your final paragraph should reiterate why you are personally invested in this solution and present a CALL TO ACTION, encouraging your readers to help you support and enact this solution.

Using Sub-Headings: Because this is a long and complex essay, I strongly encourage that you consider dividing it up into actual SECTIONS delineated by the use of SUBHEADINGS (interior titles), which will help to keep things better organized.
