Apply an anthropological look to sex and sexuality within a culture by analyzing sex stereotyping. Each student has to select a sexual stereotype and write about it in connection to the course readings. This sexual stereotype could include many topics from racial stereotypes about sex to specific sexual acts. Students could analyze those stereotypes in the context of specific culture, region, age/generational group, religion or ethnicity. Students are expected to provide a critical analysis of the subject within that culture (could be your own culture as well) using the concepts learned in this course.
