This assignment is a literature review and the word count is 1500 excluding references.I have put at 1650 words to allow for references. Write a review of the relevant literature making sure to use credible and contemporary literature sources. In writing your literature review, it is anticipated that you will: (i) Define the research topic and the key concepts in the topic, including the significance of your topic to your profession (ii) Summarises what is already known about this topic; What does this existing research tell you about the topic? What were the results and methods used in the existing research? (iii) Critically evaluate the literature by examining the conceptual development (the epistemology and methodology) of the research. (iv) Identify and key debates or areas of tension with regards to your chosen topic. (v) Comment on the strength and/or limitations of existing research. Are there limitations, for example, in the type of methodology used? (vi) Are there any gaps in the existing research? If so, outline why there may be a need for further research on your specific topic area. (vii) Your review should conclude with a statement about what further research is needed on this topic. Point out overall trends in what has been published about the topic; or conflicts in theory, methodology, evidence, and conclusions; or gaps in research and scholarship; or a single problem or new perspective of immediate interest. Establish your reason (point of view) for reviewing the literature. You might need to write your introduction last, in order to help you achieve this. 3. Explain the criteria to be used in analysing and comparing literature and the organization of the review (sequence). State why certain literature is or is not included (scope) Body You may like to group your literature according to what they have in common, for instance, according to the same conclusions of authors, or the same methodological approaches, etc. You can then compare to other views that disagree (if there are any) Summarise relevant individual studies or articles, then analyse and interpret their findings and conclusions (this is linked to a key marking criteria).
