Whenever considering a new idea, it is critical that we see what others are doing or have done in the past and how your idea is different (or hopefully better!).
Think about the specific health issue that you have selected. Who will you be focusing on (i.e., children, older adults, men, women, people of specific racial or ethnic backgrounds, specific geographic regions, etc.). Also, think if you will be focusing on this health issue through health communication, health intervention or healthcare innovation.
Select at least THREE organizations that also address your health issue (i.e., CDC, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, local organizations, hospital systems, biotech companies, etc.).
