For example, in the movie, “Inside Out”, the main character Riley is 11 years old and forced to relocate with her family. Throughout the movie we see Riley’s “emotions”, Joy, Sadness, Anger, and Disgust. We see Riley’s “train of thought”, the “islands” that represent important factors in her development, and her imaginary friend. What does all of that “mean” from a Child Development perspective? That’s what you will explore in this assignment.
