However, it also has some ideas that every person should not be entitled to due to its dangerous possible outcome like the second amendment the right to bear arms and the first amendment the freedom of religion, speech and the press. The declaration of Independence is a great article that restrict tyranny and corruption from taking place like it did in the past. It mentions the unfair advantages the kings of the past had from their power. “When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism” (declaration, 2). The article prevents society to disengage corrupt government and replace it with a fair one. The bill of rights gave liberty to common man with many amendments. One amendment is the right to fair trial which gave ordinary people to fight for justice and not be punished when innocent. “In all criminal prosecution, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime has been committed (bill of rights, 1). the dangers of the liberty in these are articles pertain to freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. The first amendment states “Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech” (Bill of rights, 1). The danger of this is the media in today’s day and age. They have very strong power of influence can portray and create false headlines that can stir people in the wrong direction. Another Potential dangerous idea is the right to bear arms. The second amendment states “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” (Bill of rights, 1). Although the right to bear arms for protection is fair to people it is also dangerous in the wrong hands. Guns are too easily accessible and in the wrong hands can be very dangerous especially if a person is not mentally stable like the cases of mass shootings of innocent school children.
