a) Write an essay on a specific human rights issue of your choice. It could be an exploration of a topic covered during the semester or an entirely new item. The problem should be directly or indirectly related to human rights.b) Your paper should demonstrate an understanding of human rights ethical concepts and theories in your analysis of the topic.I.E., You may indicate that you argue from a consequentialist, rights, etc. perspective. It will be interesting to learn that your vocabulary on specific issues has changed as you incorporate the prevailing notions in human rights studies such as positive and negative rights, positive and negative peace, etc. into your conversation.c) The paper should not be merely a collection of information about a subject but should demonstrate a critical analysis of the topic.I.E., What are some of the arguments with which you agree or disagree? Why or why not? What conclusions have you drawn from the research? I am not expecting you to produce a scholarly paper, but that you dig more in-depth than the familiar arguments about the problem.
