Discuss the historical, social, and/or cultural context of the author and the piece, and suggest how these relate to the themes discussed above.

Read the poem or the selections from the novel attached, Cervantes’ Don Quixote.

A. Write a three-paragraph main post of no less than 400 words total in which you:

1) Discuss at least two themes brought out or dealt with in the piece;

2) Find and quote at least one section, paragraph, or stanza of text from the piece that supports or illustrates each theme;

3) Discuss the historical, social, and/or cultural context of the author and the piece, and suggest how these relate to the themes discussed above.

Notes: 1) You do not have to read the entire novels to do this assignment;

2) The answer to # 3 above requires a bit of background research; Please find and cite at least TWO quality source on the poem or novel (look at Google Scholar).
